• Stop mysql service
/etc/init.d/mysql stop
  • Jalankan mysql dengan opsi skip grant table
mysqld_safe --skip-grant-tables &
  • Konek ke mysql
mysql -u root
  • Jalankan Perintah berikut (wis manut wae)
mysql> use mysql;
mysql> update user set password=PASSWORD("NEW-ROOT-PASSWORD") where User='root';
mysql> flush privileges;
mysql> quit
  • Matikan proses mysql
/etc/init.d/mysql stop
  • Jalankan lagi dan coba login dengan password baru
# /etc/init.d/mysql start
# mysql -u root -p
